A Superb Experience
Amer made my dehabiya trip on the Nile from Aswan to Luxor a memorable experience that immensely enriched my visit to Egypt. Amer is a highly qualified, experienced Egyptologist whose explanations & descriptions of the friezes & frescoes & features in the temples, tombs & the quarry we visited along our route were highly enlightening. He also endeavoured to time our visits to these sites at quieter times so as to avoid the arrival of multiple tourist cruisers when possible, which I appreciated. Amer has an engaging personality and speaks excellent English. I cannot recommend his tour too highly.

Unforgettable Nile Cruise Thanks to Amer Tours
Sailing down the Nile on a traditional sailboat for five unforgettable days was already a dream, but what made it magical was our guide, Amer from Amer Tours. From the moment we boarded the boat in Esna, Amer made sure every detail was taken care of. Our first stop was the Temple of Khnum, where he brought the ancient history to life in a way that was clear, engaging, and easy to understand. At each site, including the Temple of Edfu and the Temple of Kom Ombo, Amer didn’t just explain the facts. He made sure we really understood the stories and culture behind the ruins. He also went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and safe. He planned our days to start early so we could explore before the heat got too intense. When we visited local markets, he made sure any drinks or juices were made with bottled water to protect our health. He even made sure we had Wi-Fi on the boat so we could stay connected throughout the journey. One of the most memorable moments was a candlelit dinner in Edfu-Al-Qibli. The lights from the boat shimmered across the water while our private chef cooked an incredible meal. It was peaceful, beautiful, and unforgettable. Amer also took us to a camel station, which gave us a special glimpse into local life beyond the typical tourist route. Our journey ended in Aswan, and I honestly wished it could have gone on longer. If you're planning to cruise the Nile, I highly recommend Amer Tours. Ask for Amer by name. His care, knowledge, and attention to detail turned this trip into a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Egypt is amazing, but seeing it with Amer made it even better.

Best guide in Egypt
Amer has an amazing inspiring competence in Egyptology. We were in Egypt for 2 weeks and had Amer with us on a four -day trip on a Dahabiya. Amazing how he told us and showed us the magical Egyptian myths. All questions were answered with humility in perfect English. He was also with us in Luxor for 2 days and showed us the King's Valley, Hatchepsut Temple, Karnak and Luxor Temple area. Amer opened new thoughts and new insights into the fascinating Egyptian history. His knowledge and care go far beyond a guide's responsibility. He knew that I was particularly interested in a certain Pharaoh and took us to a surprising discovery that was not the usual path. And showed a fantastic place that was not included in the ordinary.
